Another view of the new plants

Thanks to Bill for getting me some new plants after I killed the first batch. Tomorrow, the fish arrive...

Hey Y'all we had a good time in the Risk Tournament at the O'Brien House today. Congrats to Jesse the Champion! The fish tank is progressing well and the Tetras will probably be added within a few days, and I will add some pictures with the new camera.

Hellllloooooooooo Driftwood!!

This is what happens when you move plants to a new tank and overdose them with Ammonia and beat them up with a powerful filter. Lesson learned. The plants will have to wait for the nitrogen cycle to take hold a bit and the driftwood (courtesy of Bill) should cut down on the current caused by the filter.

Here is photo #1 of the tank. It is just after Bill hooked me up with the plants and I got started with the fishless cycle by adding Ammonia.

I found a new hobby in fishkeeping and I love it! Of course, I don't have any fish yet. I am cycling the tank right now so I have some plants and a few snails to admire, courtesy of Bill. The stage has been set for the addition of the fish in a week or two. Until then, I will just enjoy my new setup.
